Results are now version 2, the only difference is allocation of points/awards for juniors.
Once again the weather was kind to us, thanks again to all the observers, course markers etc who made the event possible. Despite the slippery conditions, winners on each route dropped a point per section on average but at the other end of the scoresheet there were lots of riders over a hundred and a few too many retirements so next time round we’ll try to see those scores eased down a bit.
It seems the new start (although a bit waterlogged) and new format worked well, nearly 3 times the number of riders than last year yet we still got finished at a reasonable time. A bit of sun helped and thanks to Bee for keeping everyone fed and watered.
Two big changes for 2017
1) there’s a new start area half a mile from the original; there’s hard standing and it should be more sheltered and safer. There’s plenty of parking so don’t leave any cars or vans out on the road or verges. More details, map etc here
2) for the first time we will be running Clubman A & B routes as well as the Championship course.

Change to the usual route format, 2 laps of 18 sections.
Regs are above but pre-entry not required, enter on day at no extra cost.
Bee’s Kitchen chuck wagon will be there so please give them plenty of custom so we can enjoy the facility in future.
18 Observers with or without bikes required.
The land is very sensitive so riders must stick to marked route or risk exclusion.
Anyone found leaving litter will be excluded and banned from future events.
NO kids conducted course at this event (maybe next year).
